Mooring Equipment Log

Things to be entered in “Mooring Equipment Log ”:

• The location and numbering of the mooring winches on the vessel.
• The identification of mooring lines and the location where they are deployed. 
• Test certificates of each mooring line.
• Location and numbering of synthetic tails and connecting links such as Mandal / Tonsberg shackles.
• Record of mooring tail usage.
• Record of periodic inspections of mooring lines.
• Record of maintenance carried out on mooring winches.
• Record of inspection of brake linings.
• Record of renewal of brake linings.
• Test certificates of winch brakes with result of the test.
