Plans and Manuals

Plans and Manuals

During an inspection, a surveyor or a classification (class surveyor) ask  a Master to show some Plans and Manuals .

These plans and Manual should be approved by a Competent Authority such as DG shipping, MMD or Classification society.

A third party surveyor or a classification (class surveyor) tells  Master to tell the approved authority name and date. 

Below are the name of few Plans and Manuals.

After joining,  Plans and Manuals which  are required to  be onboard as per SMS should  be checked for availability and are approved by Competent Authority.
